From "Digital Zhongcheng" to "Digital Intelligence Zhongcheng" - The Transformation Journey of a Butterfly

     Plan strategically and keep pace with the times. The company has been planning its digitalization development since its establishment, serving as a pioneer in innovation and seizing the strategic high ground in informationization. After 20 years of digitalization development accumulation, Zhongcheng Light Machinery has explored a unique path of digitalization development with the courage of a pioneer.

 
 

● 2004-2013: The year of enterprise "digitalization" construction began. A 100M fiber optic backbone network was set up within the company, an 80M fiber optic broadband network was set up outside the company, and a 10/100M five-class twisted pair network was connected to the workstations. An OA automatic office system was launched, enabling paperless collaborative office work. 

● 2014-2017: The year of intensive efforts for enterprise "digitalization" construction. Concentrated efforts were made on software iteration and upgrade, with CAXA, OA, and ERP systems completing their iteration and upgrade, and 3D drawing software introduced for product development and design. 

● 2016-2020: The key year for enterprise "digitalization" construction. Digital and intelligent R&D PDM platform, ERP, PDM, and ERP-Kingdee K3 systems are implemented simultaneously. 

● In 2017: The company established the Amba management system and initiated a flat structure reform. 

● 2018-2020: The company implemented ERP and introduced Bill of Materials (BOM) to manage inventory and started MRP calculations to generate a comprehensive production plan. 

● 2021: The year of accelerated transformation for enterprise digitalization. In November, the digital transformation MES project was officially launched, with smart manufacturing as the main attack direction, to comprehensively promote industrial upgrading. 

● In 2022: The enterprise's digital transformation delivers a solid answer sheet. In July, the MES&WMS system was officially launched, marking a more bold step forward in the enterprise's journey towards smart manufacturing. 

From "Digital Zhongchen" to "Digital-Intelligent Zhongchen" - Innovative Achievements 

To date, the company has 94 effective patents, including 20 invention patents and 74 utility model patents. It has been recognized as a national "Enterprise Technology Center" and an Anhui Provincial "Enterprise Technology Center" and "Industrial Design Center".



 
       In terms of the construction of smart factories, the company has completed 51 smart factory integration projects that have been accepted by customers in the past three years, including the application of nearly 100 intelligent systems and equipment, including the whole-line monitoring system for smart packaging production lines and intelligent robot palletizers. This has helped customers increase their production efficiency by 10 times. The company has also actively tackled the technical difficulties in the "bottleneck" project of the industry - the design and production of metal thin-walled can sealing machines. It has achieved the design and production of a full range of food can sealing machines with a speed of 108,000 cans per hour for beer, beverages, and milk powder, breaking through the technological barriers of foreign countries and achieving the independent manufacture of high-speed can sealing machines.
 
 

From "Digital Zhongchen" to "Digital Intelligence Zhongchen" - High-Quality Development

The enterprise takes digital manufacturing as the center, and combines it with digital design and digital management. It implements the integration of ERP, PDM, and CRM systems, achieving digital management of the product lifecycle. The deep popularization and application of intelligent, digital, and information technologies have continuously strengthened the enterprise's innovation capabilities, further improved operational quality, achieved significant cost savings, and resulted in a 20% increase in annual sales revenue.

 

 
       At the beginning of this year, the enterprise arc welding robot workstation was successfully put into operation, which is a major breakthrough in the application of intelligent equipment technology. The arc welding robot workstation is customized for welding the cylinder and tank body of filling machines, and can achieve continuous operation for 24 hours. The welding speed of the filling cylinder is up to 0.38 meters per minute, and the production efficiency is nearly four times higher than that of manual welding in the past. 

     The digital transformation is an ongoing process.
