The United Equipment Organization held a youth forum for its members.

      On the eve of May 4th, on April 29th, China United Equipment Group organized a lecture on "Inheriting the Spirit of May 4th and Shouldering the Responsibilities of the Times" as the theme, to guide the young employees to deeply understand the Party's initial aspirations and cultivate a deep love for the Party and the country. Lu Dangjun, the Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Director, and General Manager of China United Equipment Group, delivered a special lecture on party affairs to young party members, youth league members, and cadres and employees. On behalf of the leadership of China United Equipment Group, he expressed deep concern and sincere expectations for the young employees, and expressed congratulations and sincere greetings on May 4th Youth Day.



      The May Fourth Movement, which erupted at a time of national crisis, was a great patriotic revolutionary movement with advanced young intellectuals as pioneers and the participation of the broad masses of the people, a movement that was totally against imperialism and feudalism. It was also a great social revolution movement in which the Chinese people rose up to save the nation from peril, uphold national dignity, and gather national strength. It was a great movement of thought enlightenment and new culture, in which new ideas, new culture, and new knowledge were spread. Lu Dangjun stressed that the May Fourth Movement originated from patriotic emotions, and the source of the May Fourth Spirit was patrioticism, which included the patriotic spirit of worrying about the country and loving the motherland, being positive and innovative, and exploring science. 
 
 

Lu Dangjun, in light of the reform and development of China United Equipment and centering on the theme of "taking the initiative to act", offered four pieces of advice and expectations to the young members:

First, establish the concept of continuous learning. Comprehend the significance of learning, take on the responsibility for learning, activate the methods of learning, and constantly reflect on the gains from learning. Learning is to illuminate one's own journey with the experiences of others, and to warn oneself against making the same mistakes with the lessons of others, enabling us to stand on the shoulders of giants, stand taller, and see farther.

Second, forge the ability to think deeply. Learn to think bidirectionally, be good at divergent thinking, attempt dynamic thinking, and pay attention to dialectical thinking. Regarding the cultivation of the ability of dialectical thinking, five requirements have been proposed: seeing the big from the small, looking forward and backward, looking left and right, being vigilant in times of peace, and bringing forth the new through discarding the old.

Third, cultivate the habit of paying attention to details. Treat details correctly, insist on doing details well, attach great importance to details, and keep a close eye on details at all times.

Fourth, cultivate the style of doing things thoroughly. Enhance the concept of responsibility, establish the concept of standards, foster the concept of time consciousness, and cultivate the concept of cooperation.

 
 
      Lu Dangjun, combining his work experience, shared his work experiences and methods with the young members. He hopes that young people will inherit the glorious tradition of May Fourth Movement and continue to uphold the "patriotic, progressive, democratic, and scientific" spirit of May Fourth Movement. To defeat oneself, one must start taking action; to surpass others, one must take proactive action. It is crucial to accurately grasp the new development stage, adhere to the new development concept, and integrate into the new development pattern, and contribute youthful strength to accelerating the construction of a top-notch equipment manufacturing enterprise group with high-quality development.

      The headquarters of China United Equipment and enterprises stationed in Beijing served as the main venue, while video sub-venues were established in relevant enterprises. Nearly 200 young Party members, League members, cadres and staff members participated in the symposium.
