Zhongchen Light Industrial Machinery Co., Ltd. Visit to Huangshan

    The 60th anniversary of our motherland's birth falls on the same day as the Mid-Autumn Festival, a time of joy and celebration across the world. It also happens to be the 7th anniversary of our company, Zhongchen Co., Ltd. The company's support, ample vacation time, and the company of friends and family have made it possible for me to fulfill my long-held dream of visiting Huangshan, and to do so with the joyful people on this auspicious occasion.

    Huotonghuang Expressway has shortened the distance between us and Huangshan. After just over three hours on the road, we had already entered the territory of Huangshan. A half-day trip to the old street and Hongcun village prepared us for our hike on Huangshan the next day. However, my real intention for this trip was not to enjoy the scenery, but to be captivated by the charm of Huangshan. My carelessness in tasting the "wine" was a great regret of this trip. But this regret also gave me a reason to visit again in the future.

     The guide told us: The climb up Huangshan is 7.5 kilometers, the trail within the mountain is 10 kilometers, and the descent is also 7.5 kilometers, which means a total of 25 kilometers of mountain trails that we need to cover in one day. Climbing Huangshan is a great test of our physical strength and endurance. Therefore, we should go to bed early and sleep well, mentally prepare ourselves, and conserve our energy. However, the more he said this, the more excited and unable to sleep we became.

    At 2 a.m., the 47 employees and their families of Zhongchen Company, collectively known as the "Hefei 47 Team," drove to the entrance of Huangshan Mountain. Except for some colleagues who were not physically able to climb the mountain, the rest of the group set out on foot, trekking through the steep cliffs. They cheered each other on and gave each other encouragement, boosting each other's confidence to conquer Huangshan Mountain and unifying their strength. The mountain path was pitch black, and since they had not prepared adequately, the group only had one flashlight. So, they displayed the spirit of Huangshan pine trees - unity in diversity - by holding hands and walking side by side, shouting and singing as they went.

    After walking for about half an hour, most people were already out of breath, with tired legs, sweating profusely, and feeling dizzy and short of breath. Some comrades even had the idea of giving up. However, someone in the group suddenly shouted, "The Yellow Mountain pines are waving their branches and cheering for our arrival! We can't let the Yellow Mountain pines embarrass us!"

    Everyone looked at the yellow pine trees extending from the cliff, as if they saw the spirit of the yellow pine trees - the spirit of self-reliance against the wind and snow, and the spirit of perseverance. So everyone gathered their strength and climbed up step by step. On the way, a porter told me, "When climbing a mountain, you can't stop for a rest. The more you rest, the more tired you'll be. Just put in a little more effort and you'll catch up with the sunrise." If you come to Huangshan and don't see the sunrise, what's the point of getting up early in the morning to climb the mountain! So, I gritted my teeth and used all my strength to keep making progress for my ideal, embodying the spirit of the yellow pine trees - the spirit of perseverance in pursuit of success no matter how many setbacks there are. Finally, as I reached the top, my phone received a call from my son who had taken the cable car up the mountain: "Dad, my mom and I just got to Yuping Pavilion. The sunrise... 。 I gasped and said, "Dad is enjoying the spectacular sunrise with you right now!"

     The sun slowly rose up from behind the cloud wall on the horizon, and the light on the mountain became brighter and the view became more distant. The sun grew bigger and bigger, from dark red to golden, and its dazzling rays slowly filled the Huangshan Mountains. The Tiantuo Peak was even more majestic in the morning sun. Wow! It was simply breathtaking! Looking back, the steps up the mountain looked like a ribbon of silk flowing down from the top of the mountain, with tiny figures on it still struggling to climb. At that moment, I was filled with excitement. I was proud of my two-hour arduous journey and the short cable car ride to the top at the same time, and proud of catching the magnificent sunrise view of Huangshan. I then realized that the Yingkesong in front had already gathered tourists from all over the world in line to take pictures. The Yingkesong stretched out its arms to welcome guests from all over the world in the morning light, perfectly embodying the Huangshan pine - the open spirit of welcoming guests from all over the world. Before visiting Huangshan, I had read countless beautiful poems and articles about it on the Internet, as well as pictures and photography. There was always a feeling that the articles were exaggerated, and the pictures were suspected of being photoshopped. But now that I had truly embraced Huangshan, I realized that I was wrong. Huangshan was simply too beautiful! All the words and pictures that described Huangshan could not capture its otherworldly beauty and magnificence.

     Following the guide, listening to his vivid explanations, we crossed Tortoise Peak, crossed the Sea of Clouds, squeezed through the Narrow Pass, and climbed to the top of the 1860-meter Bright Summit. "You won't see the scenery of Huangshan until you reach the Bright Summit," the guide said. Lotus Peak and Tiantuo Peak stood before us, and finally we felt the grandeur of "Man is the highest peak." Dangerous peaks, strange pine trees, and perilous paths made us feel frightened. However, there were countless beautiful sights to see. At that moment, I blamed the guide for not letting us stay at the Bright Summit overnight so we could fully appreciate the beauty of Huangshan. We looked at the Flying Stone from afar and enjoyed the scenery of the North Sea. After strolling along the White Goose Ridge, we reluctantly started down the steps of the mountain.

     The front of the mountain is steep and the back is beautiful. The scenery along the way down is still beautiful. But I saw even more beautiful "scenery" - the agile figures of the mountain porters and sanitation workers along the way. To serve the four seas of friends and maintain the ecological and sanitation environment of Huangshan, they braved the dangers and toiled without complaint, displaying the wholehearted dedication of the Huangshan pine - the spirit of unselfish devotion. A short distance away, I saw several foreigners using their DVs to film Huangshan, but I noticed that the final image on the DV screen was the black and agile figures of the mountain porters and sanitation workers and their smiling faces...

     Goodbye, Huangshan! I will come back to see you again, because you have given us a memorable trip of heaven, earth, people, and harmony. And in this great national holiday of our great motherland, we are exploring the beautiful landscapes of our motherland with great enthusiasm, feeling an unparalleled sense of national pride, and we are truly blessed!
