100 Days of Intensive Work | Unity and Coordination | Structural Workshop Goes All Out

In order to implement the spirit of the "100-day strategic implementation mobilization meeting" of KaiSheng Technology Group and the deployment of China United Equipment Group, ZhongChen Light Industry Machinery launched the "100-day all-out battle to win the opening year" on September 27, 2021.

Since 2021, the production tasks of the structural workshop have been extremely heavy, featuring multiple production batches, diverse product types, and tight delivery cycles, especially the recent orders from Heineken Group and China Resources Beer. Faced with immense production pressure, the company and workshop leaders planned in advance and organized meticulously, strengthened the control over the production site, clarified the production nodes of each component of the products, and ensured the completion of the target tasks as scheduled. Workshop Director Xu Chunlei stated: During the intensive production period, safety and quality issues must not be ignored. Workshop managers must enhance management and daily inspections, urge team members to take good safety protection measures and increase the intensity of quality checks to ensure no safety and quality hazards on the site. All the staff in the structural workshop worked with one heart and one mind, jointly took the initiative to sound the clarion call of "Intensively Work for 100 Days to Ensure the Successful Completion of All Tasks", and actively engaged in the production upsurge of the fourth quarter in the workshop.

The cutting section, led by Chen Jian, the section leader, has always been at the forefront of the workshop production. Especially the laser, flame, and CNC machine operators, they basically work "5+1" and "white+black". Both laser cutting machines operate non-stop throughout the day. The flame and plasma cutting machines cut thick plates, so the cutting speed is slow. In order to ensure the successful completion of production tasks, the operators overcame their own difficulties and gave up their Sunday rest time to work overtime without complaint. Laser operator Zhang Binghua fell off his bike on his way to work, resulting in a fractured rib. The doctor advised him to rest more and do less physical activity at home, but stubborn he didn't listen to the doctor's advice and only rested for a few days before returning to work.

In September, Germany KRONES signed a supply and service cooperation agreement with the company for 4 sets of 57,500 bottles/hour washing machines and ancillary equipment, to be used in Krones' glass bottle beer packaging line project for CR Snow Beer Factory. The 4 washing machines for CR Beer are of great significance to the company and are a crucial step in its efforts to enter the big beer groups. Therefore, the workshop arranged the Peng Lei workgroup to undertake 3 of the washing machines, along with the Opex 320 washing machine, Heineken 30 washing machine, and Indonesia 111 washing machine, for a total of 6 washing machines. The huge production pressure was a big test for the Peng Lei workgroup.

Peng Lei started working in 2005 and joined the structural workshop as a riveter. At work, honest and simple-minded, he humbly sought guidance from his masters on one hand; on the other hand, he spent his leisure time studying product drawings and threw himself wholeheartedly into his work. Through unremitting efforts and practical work, Peng Lei not only soon became a key business backbone in the structural workshop but also significantly accelerated the production progress of the products, earning high praise from leaders and colleagues. "One can have no diploma but must have knowledge," this is a saying that Peng Lei highly appreciates. For this reason, Peng Lei spent almost all his spare time delving into his business, striving to thoroughly understand his work and achieve success in one go. With the increase in production tasks, the work difficulty has also increased. Peng Lei realizes that his educational level is not high. Therefore, on one hand, he humbly learns from the veteran masters; on the other hand, he studies hard by himself and carefully studies the working principle and structural characteristics of the products. During this period, some colleagues joked, "We're just riveters. Why bother with that?" Whenever this happened, he would always smile faintly and say in his heart: Because I am a part of the company, I must do everything well with care, step by step. Although there are no earth-shattering achievements or widely known reputations, Peng Lei has already shaped a positive image of the "Roll up our sleeves and work with added energy" among young people of Zhongchen in an ordinary position.

In the busy production site, one can see employees working hard at their posts at any time. Some welding joints are narrow and difficult to operate, so they either kneel or lie down or crouch to ensure the quality of the welding. Such scenes bring endless inspiration and strength to people. The Xili 30 bottle washer and 176 sterilizer have been shipped, and the Aobei 320 bottle washer and Indonesia 111 bottle washer have started pipe installation. The wall frame of the 50 bottle washer for Huarun Snow is being assembled.

"Old Cao, it's necessary for you to work overtime tonight to conduct acid pickling on the sterilizer tank body. The assembly pipeline will be done by the team tomorrow, and the goods will be dispatched in two days." Master Cao Zhiping nodded and continued with the task at hand. The sandblasting and acid pickling processes, being the most arduous and dusty production positions in the workshop, Cao Zhiping has been engaged in this job for seven years under such adverse conditions. Despite being over fifty years old, he works as vigorously as a man in his early twenties. The cylinder of the mixer, the support frame, the tank body and the top cover of the sterilizer, etc., were sandblasted and acid-pickled in a timely manner and delivered to the team to complete the order on schedule.

These scenes and pictures show the determination and confidence of the welders as they prepare to work hard for 100 days. Despite the colder weather of early winter, this has had no impact on the workers' enthusiasm, and the workshop is still full of high spirits, with the same spirit of unity and perseverance as always. They are working hard to achieve their annual production targets.
