To Youth

In May, the season of spring tides, we also usher in the annual May Fourth Youth Day. Taking advantage of the thick spring atmosphere, the company's youth league organized all young members to go to Tiantangzhai for a "Youth Fly High Together to Build Zhongchen Dream" themed outdoor activity. Saying goodbye to the hustle and bustle of the city, without the pressure of work, the only things around us were fresh air, beautiful scenery, simple rural customs, and the laughter and camaraderie of colleagues. This mountain climbing activity involved a total of 75 people, with young employees as the main group, and also attracted the enthusiastic participation of some middle-aged mountain climbing enthusiasts. To organize this activity in a thorough manner, the Youth League Branch Committee carefully prepared the activity plan, clearly defined the activity schedule and climbing route, and purchased medicines, drinks, and sun hats, etc.

On May 10th early in the morning, we set off for Tian Tang Zhai on schedule, the outside was still a quiet city, but inside was a constant flow of laughter and a relaxed atmosphere. During the journey, it rained all day, but everyone's mood was lighthearted, and the colleagues' feelings were genuine. Everything was so wonderful! Around 11 am, after a 5-hour journey on the mountain road, we finally arrived at Tian Tang Zhai. The bumpy ride had made everyone feel uncomfortable and tired. We went to a local restaurant to taste the local flavors and eat natural, pesticide-free wild vegetables. We also drank sweet spring water from the mountains... After a short rest, everyone's spirits improved significantly, although the rain hadn't stopped, but the green world around us had already infected us.

The first stop of the activity was the Bai'ma Grand Canyon, where we walked on the damp wooden plank path in the rain, listening to the sound of the flowing creek. In the lush and abundant forest, we experienced the intimate contact between the canyon and the beautiful water. Riding the zip line through the canyon, the spring breeze blew on our faces, instantly relaxing the tense state of mind we had in the city. Along the way, we passed the Jiu Long Union Ponds, where young people eagerly chose to jump from rock to rock across the creek, as the local tour guide said it was a path to promotion and wealth.

After completing the Natural Castle and Leaping Horse Bridge, the rain in the sky gradually got heavier, which made me worry about the second stop of our activity plan - Tianshuijian rafting. However, to my surprise, everyone insisted on going rafting. Tianshuijian is reputed as the first rafting in the Dabie Mountains, "Escape from the Narrow Gap, Heavenly Water in Tianshuijian even makes the gods drunk." This thrilling and exciting rafting trip once again pushed our activity to a climax. Sitting in the air-filled rubber raft was quite comfortable, and the members of the group were all eager to try and got into a state of readiness. From sitting in the raft to getting off, it took over two hours and a distance of 7.5 kilometers. During this time, we experienced countless feelings, both exciting and leisurely, and along the way we made all kinds of silly faces and jokes. In the beginning, we tried to row the oars vigorously, but the raft remained in place. After struggling for a while, we finally figured out the trick and the raft slowly drifted towards the exit. When we got to the exit and looked, oh my! At least two storeys high, I couldn't help but feel scared, but there was no other way out, so I had to steel myself and move forward. We lowered the wooden paddle and tightly grasped the handrail of the raft, closed our eyes, held our breath, and the administrator pushed the raft down and released it. We heard a loud "whoosh" and suddenly the raft plunged down at full speed, and our whole body felt weightless. Large amounts of water fell from above, and the spray of water choked me. Before I could collect my senses, the raft collided head-on with a large rock, and the raft body performed a few somersaults. Several large waves hit us, and the rubber raft was filled with water, and we were instantly submerged. The rubber raft was carried along by the water unstoppably, and experienced rafters can use their oars to push against the rocks and avoid collisions. However, we were powerless to resist and

As night approached, after a thorough washing and grooming, we made a special trip to the town to savor the local delicacy - the hanging pot feast. After a strenuous trek through the gorge and an exhilarating rafting adventure, we were all famished. Faced with the sumptuous and appetizing big hanging pot, we no longer held back and devoured the food with relish, praising it non-stop. In the evening, the Youth League specifically distributed blue gentian root to each member of the rafting team and instructed them to take it to prevent colds.

On May 11th, at around 5 am, I left the hotel to check the weather. Thankfully, the heavens blessed us and didn't let us spend the entire 2-day trip in spring rain. Today's task is to climb Tian Tang Zhai, the main charm of which lies in the waterfalls and creek pools. Within the scenic area, there are numerous waterfalls and streams flowing, clear creek pools, and ecologically elegant surroundings. Among the most famous are the First Nine Shadows Waterfall and the Third Jade Waterfall. After the rain, Tian Tang Zhai is lush and green. As soon as we enter the scenic area, we can faintly hear the sound of waterfalls. The surrounding mountains rise and fall, layer upon layer, with green hills and clear waters, creating an exceptionally superior environment. We can truly enjoy ourselves here in this natural "oxygen bar" without wanting to return to the real world. As we walk up the winding trail step by step, the First Nine Shadows Waterfall comes into view first. This is a year-round flowing waterfall with a height of 71 meters and a width of about 8 meters, formed by rock differences and fault action. The bottom of the waterfall is a granite bed that has intruded into the biotite schistose gneiss. There is a deep pool below the waterfall, with an area of 50 square meters, which never dries up. The waterfall curtain hangs down from the sky, making a loud roar. The second waterfall we see is the Lover's Waterfall, where we can see unequal-sized granite beds in the pool below. There are also large-belted complex rocks captured in the rock body. This waterfall has a gentle flow, folding several times, flowing down with the momentum, just like a young girl combing her beautiful hair. The most magnificent is the Third Jade Waterfall, with a drop of 62 meters and a width of 11-13 meters. The rock is light purple and slightly inclined, with uneven rock surfaces. The waterfall looks like rolling pearls and jade, unique and magnificent. The waterfall flows down and crashes on the stone platform, which can be described as "clear spring flowing over stones

The entire journey of mountain climbing took nearly 3 hours in total. Along the way, we followed the Longjing River creek and walked slowly in the mist, with the river's banks lined with undulating peaks, lush vegetation, and wildflowers, creating a scenic and enchanting atmosphere. Walking along the riverbank, we felt as if we were immersed in a natural painting, which left us feeling refreshed and at ease. As we approached the summit, the mountain path became steep and narrow, with some sections only able to accommodate one person at a time. We had to use our hands, feet, and brains simultaneously to proceed. In difficult sections, members of the group enthusiastically helped each other, supporting and encouraging each other, and laughing and joking as they reached the summit. At that moment, the clouds dispersed, the sky brightened, and the melodious bird calls, the vast blue sky, the undulating mountains, and the endless flow of people immediately came into view. The scenic beauty of Tiantangzhai was all before us, and we basked in the sun, unable to help but exclaim in praise, with joyful smiles on our faces, marveling at how the beauty of this place truly lived up to our expectations. The sound of water and birds filled our ears, the mountains were beautiful, and the people were beautiful, creating a beautiful and harmonious picture! After descending the mountain, we savored authentic local cuisine and felt the warmth of the local people. Looking at the majestic mountains in the distance, all our weariness disappeared into thin air.

This is our two-day team-building event. Unfortunately, the rain on the first day forced us to cancel our planned bonfire. However, at the end of the event, everyone's feelings and experiences were profound. We ventured into nature, enjoyed it, released ourselves, experienced life, and returned to work with renewed enthusiasm and a positive attitude to fulfill our duties and take responsibility for ourselves and the company. What we learned most from this team-building exercise is that unity is strength. The power of a team is immense, and as long as everyone works together, there will be joy in reaching the summit together! When faced with difficulties, we hold hands and face them together, united in our efforts, and we always find that there are more ways to overcome difficulties than there are difficulties themselves.

Let's say goodbye to "Heaven" with a look back, where beautiful waterfalls, clear dragon ponds, steep cliffs, and unforgettable Tianshuijian rafting will all be part of our youthful memories.
