Tighten the Safety Production Firewall and Play the First Move in Preventing Risks | Zhongchen Light Industry Holds the Launch Ceremony of the 2022 Safety Production Month Activities

       On June 1, Zhongchen Light Machinery held a grand launch ceremony for the 2022 "Safety Production Month" activities under the guidance of China United Equipment, deeply carrying out the 21st national "Safety Production Month" activities with the theme of "Comply with the Safety Production Law and Be the First Responsible Person", fully implementing the spirit of the mobilization speech given by Lu Dangjun, Party Secretary, Chairman, General Manager of China United Equipment on May 31, and implementing the 15 hard measures for safety production work, strengthening the implementation of enterprise safety production responsibility, consolidating the safety production defense line, and creating a good safety environment for the victory of the 20th CPC National Congress. Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager Zha Zhengwang attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, while the ceremony was hosted by Gao Yibing, a member of the Party Committee and production director.

       Regarding further promoting the "Safety Production Month" campaign and driving safety production work to the ground, Zhao Zhengwang emphasized:

       First, we need to raise our awareness and consolidate the achievements of the activities. The "Safety Month" activities are a great way to popularize safety knowledge and raise the safety awareness of all employees. By conducting these activities, we can create an atmosphere of "paying attention to safety and caring for lives" throughout the company, further enhancing our employees' understanding of the importance of safety production and consolidating and expanding the achievements of safety production.

    Secondly, we should pay attention to the effect of publicity and education, and create a safety culture atmosphere. All departments should take this event as an opportunity to carry out safety publicity and education for all employees. Everyone should participate and talk about safety, starting from themselves and their own job responsibilities. We should improve employees' awareness of workplace safety, operational safety skills, and self-protection abilities. We should focus on the theme of "Comply with the Safety Production Law and Be the First Responsible Person" and promote the safety development policy of "Safety First, Prevention-oriented, and Integrated Management." We should continuously improve employees' legal awareness and consciousness of workplace safety.

    Three things need to be done consciously to shoulder the responsibilities of all parties and strictly follow three principles. First, those in charge must manage both work and safety. Those in charge should shoulder their responsibilities and manage both work and safety. They should focus on both business and safety and adhere to the principle that "whoever is in charge of the work is responsible for safety and whoever is in charge of the area is responsible for safety." They should take practical actions to fulfill all safety requirements. Second, safety has the power to veto. We must take it seriously and give it top priority, prevent accidents before they happen, and never take it lightly or break the law intentionally. Third, implement the "four no-let-ups" in safety production. Safety is no laughing matter. We must strictly enforce discipline and regulations. Once a safety accident occurs, we must make sure that those involved and employees have not learned their lesson, the responsible party has not been dealt with, no preventive measures have been put in place, and the cause of the accident has not been found out before we let it go.

    Fourth, seize the opportunity for development and enhancement, and promote safety-specific rectification. All departments of the company should seize the opportunity of the "Safety Month" activities and make sure that every employee is a safety officer. We should focus on implementing various safety prevention measures and resolutely stop any violations of safety regulations, such as improper command, improper operation, violation of labor discipline, and violation of company safety regulations.
